The oldest music school in Ternopil region reported on its work with a grand concert - Nadia Kulyk

Talented teachers and their students of Ternopil Vasyl Barvinsky School of Music # 1 impressed the audience with interesting numbers, great musical sound and artistry. The performances of the Holiday ensembles and the Fusion trio, the exemplary band of Bandura players Vyshivanka under the direction of Nadiya Kulik, the song “Hallelujah” performed by the choir of the upper classes, the soloist Maria Stopnik and the pop ensemble were particularly striking. It is worth noting that almost every number touched the soul and mesmerized with depth and skill of execution.

As part of the certification, which is held every ten years, the school has organized a real artistic feast for students and their parents.

– We have been preparing this concert for several months in the fall. All thanks to a strong pedagogical team. I am glad that our school confirmed its status and successfully passed the certification – said the director of the institution Nadiya Semchishin.

By the way, there are 102 teachers in the state of the school (87 in the main state, the rest in combination). There are 615 students studying the basics of musical art. They have seven departments: piano, string, folk instruments, wind instruments, vocal and choral, theoretical disciplines and variety singing.

With such teams as at your school, we can go to Europe, – said Deputy Head of the Department of Culture of the Regional State Administration Mikhail Frankov. – I want to thank everyone who spoke today, from the youngest to the oldest. This is a great job done by a team of teachers and their students. This concert has given me a great mood for fruitful work today, so I sincerely thank you for your high level of preparation and wish you success in the future.

Next year, the Vasyl Barvinsky Ternopil Music School # 1 will celebrate its 85th anniversary, so we wish teachers and their students hope and inspiration in preparing for the anniversary.
